Sucupira Seeds in White Wine: The Home Remedy for Pain Relief

Sucupira wine is a beverage prepared from the maceration of the seeds of this medicinal tree in white wine.

This drink is believed to have therapeutic properties, especially in relieving joint and muscle pain.

Here we have a simple recipe for you to prepare the famous sucupira home-remedie:

Ingredients:

- 35g of sucupira seeds
- 75 cl of good quality white wine
- 1 glass bottle with airtight lid

Preparation method:

Start by washing the sucupira seeds under running water to remove any dirt or impurities.

Then breaks the seeds slightly with a hammer or piercing pliers and thus helps to release the internal resin, where the active compounds are concentrated.

Place the fragmented seeds inside a glass bottle with an airtight lid.

Add white wine to the bottle, enough to completely cover the seeds.

Close the bottle tightly and shake gently to mix the ingredients.

Complete the bottle by adding the rest of the wine.

Store the bottle in a cool, dark place for about 10 days, shaking the mixture daily.

After 10 days, strain the sucupira wine using a coffee strainer or clean cloth to remove the seeds.

Pour the sucupira wine into another clean bottle and close it well.

Store it in the fridge and drink 1 cup of expresso coffee (barely full, equivalent to 3 tablespoons) of sucupira wine before lunch and another before dinner.

It is important to remember that sucupira wine is not recommended for children, pregnant women, nursing mothers and people with liver or kidney problems.

In addition, it is always important to consult a health professional before starting to take any supplement or natural remedy.

Hello,
I have problems with arthritis and I've found that sucupira tea helps tremendously. I would like to have a consultation with someone who knows how to use the remedy because there is no information in the U.S.
Could you please let me know if you or someone you know of could help me in understanding how to take it and where I could purchase it?

There are no well-studied doses, but I get the idea that traditionally a dose of oil equivalent to the content of one seed is used, 1 to 2 times a day. You need to find a doctor or therapist who can help you with your particular situation.

I don't know where you can buy the seeds in the USA, maybe the best thing is to look in herbal stores in South American countries, but always with the risk of the order being held up at customs.
