Matcha Tea is the type of tea used in the Japanese tea ritual and is obtained through an artisanal process of grinding green tea with a stone mill that rotates very slowly until it is reduced to powder.

The preparation of the Japanese Matcha Green Tea harvest begins, once a year, 20 days before the leaves are picked, in the high mountains of Japan.
By this time, the leaves intended for the preparation of the “green jewel” are protected from direct sunlight, thus slowing down their growth and increasing the levels of chlorophyll and essential amino acids.
For the production of this authentic gem, the best shoots of each plant are handpicked.

Usage suggestion
Add 1 coffee spoon or 2 measuring spoons of "chashaku" to 200ml of hot water.
The water to prepare this tea must not be boiling, otherwise the tea will become bitter.
Allow the water to cool to 75º before adding the matcha.
Stir vigorously until all the tea has dissolved.
To avoid the formation of small "grunts" you should stir your matcha with a fork or using the "chasen" (bamboo brush, suitable for stirring matcha tea).
Matcha tea should be consumed right after brewing to prevent it from becoming bitter.
In fat loss regimens, you should drink 1 cup on an empty stomach and 1 cup 30 minutes before lunch and dinner.
