What is Sucupira?

The famous Sucupira, is a majestic tree native to the Amazon rainforest of Brazil.

Used for generations in traditional medicine, Sucupira can help relieve joint and muscle discomfort, in addition to promoting a strong purifying effect.


Sucupira Seeds and Oil

Despite the great quality of its wood, it is in the seeds that we find valuable medicinal properties, such as powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

Small, oval-round in shape and dark brown in color, sucupira seeds have a hard and resistant shell, which gives them a solid and robust appearance.

When we observe them more closely, it is possible to see details on the surface of the bark, such as striations or grooves, which can vary between the different species of sucupira.

Although quite hard, after being broken with a hammer or pliers, they reveal an interior composed of internal tissues, which include the embryo of the future plant and nutrient reserves, but the big one goes to its precious oil.

It is thanks to the natural anti-inflammatory compounds, present in the oil found inside sucupira seeds, that great benefits can be obtained from its consumption.

Sucupira can be used by ingesting small amounts of its pure oil, or through a drink prepared from the infusion of its broken seeds, which release oil for tea.

There are also those who prepare a powerful anti-inflammatory tonic, adding the seeds to wine.


Sucupira Capsules

One of the most practical ways to access the benefits of sucupira is to consume its capsules for a short period.

Sucupira capsules are generally gelatinous and have an adequate amount of seed oil, already refined, inside.

However, it is a product that is difficult or impossible to find, as you may have already noticed.


Where to Buy Sucupira?

In addition to the time-consuming and expensive possibility of ordering products from South American countries such as Brazil, the only way to use the medicinal plant is by purchasing its seeds.
